A little about my Writing page in the meantime!
When I was in the fourth grade, there was a short story writing contest between the fourth, fifth, and sixth graders. The short story had to have the same subject (a gecko) and why he chose to stay in our town's park (Bullard, TX).
I was already into writing short stories and poems by this point, so I was excited to see what I could come up with. And when they announced the winner a week or so later, they called my name over the intercom and I was beyond excited! I ended up having my story put on a plaque next to a gecko statue in the park that still stands today, along with having my picture done and put into our town's newsletter.
Since then, I've had a passion for writing whether it was short stories, poems, or kid's stories, and I'm now working on my own novels.
It is a dream of mine to one day become a fully published author!
